1. Introduction
This submission concerns the impact of the NTER on the alcohol use of Aboriginal people living in the town of Elliott. The information we report here was gathered during research commissioned by FaHCSIA Darwin, NT Reform (Alcohol), in May and June 2008. The research was designed to draw views and understandings of the nature and extent of issues relating to the supply and consumption of alcohol in three specified communities. FaHCSIA has given permission for these data to be reported to the Review Team. However the opinions expressed here are those of the researchers, and are not endorsed by FaHCSIA.
