That the training of community leaders would begin in regional training programs
That training of community leaders in regional training programs would be followed up with planning events facilitated by experienced community development workers and mentoring in communities (see ‘Training Resources’ below). This training would be a powerful adjunct to community driven healing initiatives, e.g., the Southern Cross University's CIRCLE program and the related work of trauma response teams.
Two examples of training modules developed by ICA Australia are described in Appendix B, but would need to be configured to meet the specific needs of participants from the various regions.
